A Video Tour with ClearWater to Mark Our ‘Re-Launch’

Yesterday, we unveiled a new ClearWater website, with an amazing new interactive map, overviews of some of ClearWater's new programs—territorial mapping, new media training, legal advocacy—and a powerful new photo-montage video narrated by the inimitable Peter Coyote. While the website overhaul was happening and the re-launch being planned, work in the field hasn't slowed down a bit. In fact, it's only accelerating, which is part of the reason there haven't been as many posts here on the blog lately. But over the coming days, we'll be posting about some of the new features we hope you'll explore and share with anyone you think may be interested (the next post will take a more in-depth look at the interactive map and the mad genius behind it). And then we'll also share some powerful stories and images from recent weeks, working in the Cofan community of Sinangue, and visiting some of our Waorani friends. In the meantime, please watch this video created to mark the re-launch of ClearWater, which we hope provides a glimpse of life in the Cofan, Secoya, Waorani, Siona, and Kichwa communities here, and the work we feel inspired to be witnesses to. Besides being posted here and on our YouTube channel, of course, the video resides on an 'Introducing ClearWater' page we made specifically for our 're-launch' — it's a great page to share on Facebook to give people a n introduction to our work. Thank you for your support, as always!
